A comprehensive, practice‑focused course covering the full lifecycle of documentary collection operations — from filling in principal´s (drawer´s) collection instructions and submitting documents for collection through remitting these collection documents to a collecting bank, presentation, fulfilment of collection conditions (D/P or D/A) and final settlement. The programme applies URC 522 in a highly practical way, combining clear procedural guidance, real‑life examples and drafting exercises so participants leave able to prepare, review and process documentary collections with confidence and minimal operational risk. 

Practical Seminar on Documentary Collections for Practitioners:
An intensive, practice‑driven seminar for banking and corporate professionals who handle documentary collections daily. The programme teaches how to process a documentary collection from both the exporter's and its remitting bank's perspectives, and the importer's and its collecting bank's perspectives. Participants will learn how to prepare correct collection instructions, how to handle received collection documents, what the difference is between D/P (documents against payment) and D/A (documents against acceptance) collection conditions, how to correctly draw a bill of exchange, and the main bill of exchange practices (regarding, e.g., endorsements, protests, and acceptance).
